Creating Trust During Change
Green Planet Energy’s rebrand campaign marked a major evolution: transitioning from Greenpeace Energy to an independent identity, while preserving its core environmental values and cooperative structure. The campaign’s goal was to introduce the new name without losing the trust of loyal customers, using authentic storytelling to reassure both existing and potential customers of the brand’s ongoing commitment to sustainability.
In my role, I handled production planning, video editing, animation, and the extensive technical coordination required for a campaign of this scale. We rolled out content across Digital Out of Home, social media, and TV, adapting visuals to each platform’s specifications. My main challenge was managing the technical diversity of formats to ensure consistency and quality across all media.
The heart of the campaign featured employee testimonials, adding an authentic voice and reinforcing trust in the brand’s mission. By combining real employee voices with an animated, welcoming visual world, the campaign conveyed Green Planet Energy’s values in an engaging, approachable way, aiming to build credibility and a sense of shared purpose with the audience.
